South Korea, the Hero against the corona fight

South Korea was flashing fast to launch the defense against the corona infections when it appeared in January 2020. It managed to keep the infected and deceased as low as possible and to increase its ability and performance in testing its citizens on a massive scale (623K+) and managed the care of the infected very adequately. With 10,780 cases, there are now 1,407 left, and more of all, it has completed the pandemic with 87%.

Additionally, it continues to test its population with about 6,000 tests per day in average. It has now single digits infections, and those are mainly from newcomers coming into the country. If it continues as it is today, this country will be free from corona at May 17, 2020!

South Korea: The Tiger and the Dragon

And the last, but not least, this amazing country didn't close down any economy, neither schools nor businesses. And if it applied restraints, those were common sense restraints and short-lived. You can't say that for those countries in Europe and North America.

There is an indication of the state of the processing of the pandemic of a country, and that's the percentage of completeness. For the world, this is currently 39%, and for South Korea this is 87%.

Then we can monitor the increase/decrease of this important indicator to see if the country in question is performing well or not in the battle against the pandemic. Worldwide this indicator is 1.23% (meaning that the average percentage per day for completeness), but for South Korea this percentage is 2.7%. What this actually mean is that in average, each day the pandemic in this country improves with 2.7%.

That percentage might look not much, but it is. Only China (3%), Iceland (3%), Luxembourg (2.8%), Austria (2.7%) and Australia (2.7%) will beat that. Here follows the full list:
