Mass Murder in Hospitals?

It was all in the news early 2020. What! COVID-19! We need ventilators! Fast. Loads of them! And mechanical ventilation is life saving ... is that so? Statistics learned that mortality rates go up to 80% or more when they connect a COVID-19 patient to a ventilator! And numerous experimental and clinical studies have shown that it can induce lung injury, leading to potentially irreversible structural and functional damage), a concept known as ventilator-induced lung injury (VILI). It's actually so bad, that more people died of VILI then of COVID-19! The worst thing of everything is that the doctors knew! An alternative of using ventilators is oxygen therapy without a ventilator. South Korean physicians reported that critical Covid-19 patients responded well to oxygen therapy without a ventilator. Patients are getting multiple organ damage from hypoxia. It’s not the COVID-19 that’s the killer, it’s the cellular oxygen deprivation. And we are hurting these patients with ventilators. It's now so bad, that patients' life expectancy drops dramatically once placed on a ventilator. Even in the most sophisticated hospitals in the world, once a patient is placed on a ventilator, their chances of survival shrink dramatically. NPR reminds us that most patients placed on a ventilator "still die" (mortality rates can soar to 80%, or higher, for the most high-risk patients). Ventilators can also increase the likelihood that a patient develops a dangerous secondary bacterial infection like we described below. These types of secondary infections are often what ultimately what kills a high-risk patient. Ventilators work really well for patients with common forms of pneumonia, according Dr. Negin Hajizadeh from Northwell School of Medicine in New York. They treat patients for several days. And then they get the antibiotics into the body, and the patient recovers. Unfortunately with this COVID-associated pneumonia, there are no treatments that they know work for sure, except maybe oxygen therapy without a ventilator.

The majority of people who go on a ventilator are dying due to COVID-19 mimicking the physiology of ischemia-reperfusion injury with prolonged transient hypoxia and ischemia, leading directly to the formation of damaging reactive oxygen species:
